Sugar is a fundamental human food product. Besides its direct consumption there are all the industrial applications in which sugar becomes one of the components of the final product.

Delta Sugar is the leading producer of sugar beet in Egypt providing more than 25% of the country’s sugar requirements . Delta sugar operates one factory produces over than 270000 tons of white sugar each year from sugar beet which is supplied by 60000 beet farmers in contract with Delta Sugar each year to provide around 2.0 million tones of raw material : sugar beet , which is grown on 38000 hectares . the processing season usually lasts ( 130-140 ) days from February to June .

In order to satisfy the customer’s needs and requirements, our products range is continuously being developed to enable food manufacturers to develop new brands to satisfy consumer trends and reduce manufacturing costs , and today about 95% of total volumes sold to industry in Egypt is used in production of food , such as fruit juice, soft drinks, confectionery and marmalade.

Beet Pulp. ( By – Product )

When the sugar has been extracted from the sugar beet , the remaining beet pulp is used for animal feed . The pressed ,dried beet pulp has excellent properties .

As cattle feed , it reduces nitrogen emissions and is therefore an environmentally friendly choice .

Delta Sugar Company produces + 100000 tons of beet pulp . Most of them are exported , the rest are used as cattle feed in the domestic market with the following specification :
